Depends on the format of the original thingie, esp with photography. 30x40 would be great average but by camera captures images in 2:3 ratio, and i prefer that format myself. so i usually do my prints in 20x30 and if i was considering exhibition, depending on the venue, i might go for 40x60. unless i change format of the photo to square what i do quite often ;)

The bigger the better I say. Creates more impact. :3

A3 or A2 would be best. One of the best aspects of your work is the amount of detail you put into it. A4 wouldn't do it justice.

Large print with mat, chrome frame, and non-reflective beveled glass hung on the wall at eye level.

I like the big prints, but not those sizes, because they require custom frames/mats. I have a 12x18 now that I am going to have to mailorder a mat. I think the same would be true of 18x24. 20x24 is a standard frame size (using no mat).

I think, A3 is the best for a place right above the table (I can place only one masterpiece there :(), A2 is good for any place in the room or even for a street poster, and A4 is cool for a desk-mounted photo, which I want to have always right before my eyes.:aww:
And of course, if print has a lot of small details, it needs A2, no matter what, to have a chance to see them all! :D

Well, in two words, that depends... :D

Personally, I have a lot of space on a walls, so maybe I'd prefer A2 without frames.
