The picture was right there in my head and had to get out. :D

I rather like it, the only thing that bothers me is that the scan really doesn't do it justice. I tried, but didn't manage to get a better scan, tried to adjust it with Photoshop, but... :( The original still looks ten times better.

Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this. I like how she seems to stand in the middle of a theater background. I like the lack of perspective. I like her puffy red hair. :)
The dress is somewhat similar to my L'oiseau picture, I just can't get enough of big pretty dresses! :D
And YAY!! Buttons!! It had been too long since I last drew buttons. :nod:

Simple and elegant with touches of bright color in just the right places, My Puppet Sunset by *kmye-chan is one serene and beautiful illustration. The delicate play of yellows and oranges in the background sets the mood while the fine detail of the figure's dress and her antiqued coloring in contrast draws the eye. I have submitted it for a print, but I'm not sure they'll judge the quality of the scan high enough for printing. Wait and see, I guess! :D
