My very first try at sculpture. :)
Something quite unusual from what you're used to see from me...
It was a sudden urge to do something 3-dimensional, so... I pretty much used the materials I had at hand at my home. I had no idea how you're supposed to plan a sculpture, so I just... went for it and saw what happened. :)

The title refers to a poem by Charles Baudelaire.

She's made of folded papers mainly, with decorative ribbons and virgin wool.

wow that's great! It reminds me a bit of Tim Burton's version of Mrs. Lovett from Sweeney Todd...if she had pink hair. Very creative.

She looks very petite, though the material you used for the hair doesn't seem to match that theme, in my opinion. I think that it would look better if you had used something smoother, but it looks great nonetheless, especially for a first try. ;3
